Back in May it was reported that Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina) was in talks for roles in two high profile projects in the fifth instalment of the Bourne franchise and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie.
However, it seems that scheduling conflicts has meant the actress has had to choose between the two, with Deadline reporting that she has now officially signed on to appear in Bourne 5 alongside Matt Damon and will no longer appear in the video game adaptation.

We’ll certainly be seeing a lot of Vikander in the near future, with the Swedish star having The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Danish Girl, Tulip Fever, Adam Jones and The Light Between Oceans all on the horizon.
