Back in May it was announced that James Marsden (Westworld) is set to star in the Stephen King and Joe Hill adaptation In the Tall Grass, and now THR is reporting that Patrick Wilson (Aquaman), Laysla De Oliveira (Code 8) and Harrison Gilbertson (Picnic at Hanging Rock) have joined the cast.
Based on King and Hill’s 2012 novella, In the Tall Grass “follows a sister and brother who venture into a vast field of grass in Kansas after hearing a boy’s cries for help and soon discover that there may be no way out.”
In the Tall Grass is being directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice) and filming is now underway. The film is set to premiere on Netflix. It marks Netflix’s third King adaptation after Gerald’s Game and 1922.
