Deadline is reporting that Marisa Tomei (Spider-Man: Homecoming) has joined Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan) and Alex Wolff (Hereditary) in Human Capital, the next film from director Marc Meyers (My Friend Dahmer).
Based on Stephen Amidon’s 2005 novel, Human Capital follows two families — one middle-class and one privileged — whose lives intertwine across the social divide when two of their children suddenly begin a relationship that leads to a tragic accident.
The novel was previously adapted by Paolo Virzi with 2013’s Italian-language feature Il Capitale Umano.
Oscar-winner Tomei was recently seen in The First Purge and The Handmaid’s Tale, and reprises her role as Aunt May in next year’s Marvel sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home.
