Fandango has unveiled a first look photo from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, director Andre Ovredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe) and producer Guillermo del Toro’s (The Shape of Water) adaptation of Alvin Schwartz’s book trilogy, which follows a group of young teens who must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is set for release on August 9th in the US and features a cast that includes Zoe Margaret Colletti (Wildlife), Michael Garza (Wayward Pines), Austin Zajur (Kidding), Gabriel Rush (Moonrise Kingdom), Natalie Ganzhorn (Wet Bum), Austin Abrams (The Americans), Gil Bellows (Patriot), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), and Javier Botet (It).
