New image from The Kitchen featuring Elisabeth Moss, Tiffany Haddish and Melissa McCarthy

January 4, 2019 by Gary Collinson

After unveiling a first-look photo last month, Warner Bros. has now released a new image from the upcoming crime drama The Kitchen, an adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic book series, which stars Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip) and Melissa McCarthy (Ghostbusters).

“The Kitchen” stars Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy (“Bridesmaids”), Tiffany Haddish (“Girls Trip”) and Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) as three 1978 Hell’s Kitchen housewives whose mobster husbands are sent to prison by the FBI. Left with little but a sharp ax to grind, the ladies take the Irish mafia’s matters into their own hands—proving unexpectedly adept at everything from running the rackets to taking out the competition…literally.

The Kitchen is set for release on September 20th and features a cast that also includes Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), James Badge Dale (Only the Brave), Brian d’Arcy James (Spotlight), Margo Martindale (Sneaky Pete), Common (Hunter Killer), Bill Camp (Red Sparrow); Jeremy Bobb (Marshall), E.J. Bonilla (The Long Road Home), Wayne Duvall (Prisoners), Annabella Sciorra (Daredevil), and Myk Watford (Darkness Rising).
