Doctor Strange director says Avengers: Endgame pitch was “f*cking incredible”

April 5, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Scott Derrickson, the director of Doctor Strange, says that the pitch he heard for Avengers: Endgame made the film sound “incredible”.

While many fans are hoping that Avengers: Endgame will live up to its billing and be a worthy follow-up to the loved Infinity War, none of us know for sure how it’s going to turn out. All we can do is take the word of those who have a little insider knowledge.

While Scott Derrickson, the director of Doctor Strange hasn’t seen the film, he was on the receiving end of a pitch for both Infinity War and Endgame. It’s safe to say that he was impressed. Taking to Twitter, the director teased:

“While editing Doctor Strange at Marvel, I ran into Joe Russo outside the men’s room. He pitched me the basic story for both Infinity War and Endgame. I told him that if he could make the first movie work, the second movie would be fucking incredible.”

Well, considering Infinity War “worked” by most standards, hopefully, that means what comes next with Endgame will blow our socks off. Anyway, there’s not long to wait now until its April 26 release date. We will find out soon.
