Dead Cells DLC coming to Switch this week

May 21, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Developer Motion Twin has revealed Rise of the Giant, the free DLC for the action game Dead Cells, will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on 23rd May.

You can watch the trailer for the DLC here…

Originally releasing in March for PC, the Rise of the Giant DLC brings two new areas, two new boss battles, ten new enemy types, three new skills (including a flying pet), ten new weapons, a new specialist shop, and a new Skinning system.

The Skinning system allows players to access 50 new character outfits via blueprints that are dropped from defeated enemies or through exploration.

Dead Cells is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but there is no word on the Rise of the Giant releasing on consoles as of yet.

Dead Cells is also set to be released on mobile devices this coming Summer, with the iOS version arriving first and Android version at a later date.

Will you be playing the free DLC for Dead Cells? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @FMyth_Gaming…
