John Boyega is teaming with Green Room and Blue Ruin writer-director Jeremy Saulnier for the new Netflix thriller feature Rebel Ridge, Variety has revealed.
While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, Rebel Ridge is described as “a high-velocity thriller that explores systemic American injustices through bone-breaking action sequences, suspense and dark humor.”
This marks the second collaboration between Netflix and Jeremy Saulnier after last year’s thriller Hold the Dark starring Jeffrey Wright, Alexander Skarsgard and Riley Keough.
Boyega will next be seen reprising his role as Resistance hero Finn in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which opens in cinemas worldwide next month.
