Suicide Squad cast discuss their characters, more images released

October 26, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Earlier today we brought you a batch of images from next year’s DC supervillain ensemble Suicide Squad [check them out here], and now thanks to Comic Book Movie we’ve got more stills from the film, while several members of the cast also discuss their characters.

Jared Leto on The Joker: “”There was definitely a period of…detachment. I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole. I always get the sense that The Joker may be much older than people think. It’s something different. If you don’t break rules, you’re not going to strike new ground. I think I’ll be cooling down for the rest of my life.”

Karen Fukuhara on Katana: “She has morals and codes. She’s can also slice through hundreds of people without taking a breath.”

Adam Beach on Slipknot: “He’s formidable. He can climb anything. And he hangs people for a living. I joke that he was caught strangling Wonder Woman. I downloaded this app called Grog Knots. Now I could tie up a horse.”

Jai Courtney on Captain Boomerang: “He’s an absolute bogan, in the purest sense. Dave’s first instruction was, ‘Find your inner shitbag.'”

Jay Hernandez on El Diablo: “Most of these guys are happy to get out there and kill people, but he just wants to stay out of the fight.”

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje on Killer Croc: “He’s a cannibal with rage issues. Although he only eats the most talented people. He’s picky.”

Joel Kinnaman on Rick Flag: “Flag is the highest level operator working for the government. He’s had lots of friends die and has killed many, many people. Deadshot gives him the most problems. Harley is easily distracted, but up for following orders if it means destroying things…”
