Amazon adapting comic book Fear Agent as a TV series

January 27, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Having brought both Preacher and The Boys to the small screen, Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg are now turning their attention to another comic book in Rick Remender and Tony Moore’s Fear Agent, with the duo teaming with Shazam! director David F. Sandberg and Spider-Man producer Matt Tolmach to develop a TV adaptation for Amazon.

The logline for Fear Agent reads:

Interstellar invaders. Time travel. Clones of clones of clones, and lots of whiskey. Whether he’s battling the scourge of space, going back in time to stop the alien invasion that changed Earth forever, or winning his ex-wife back, there’s nothing that Heath Huston won’t do to try to right the wrongs and gets his family back. He is, after all, the last Fear Agent.

Fear Agent first launched in 2005 through Image Comics before moving to Dark Horse until the end of its run in 2012. A feature film version was previously in development at Universal.
