HeroQuest returns to deliver more High Adventure in a World of Magic

November 19, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Get ready to experience high adventure in a world of magic once again as HeroQuest is set to make a return this January, with Hasbro subsidiary Avalon Hill announcing that pre-orders for its crowd-funded remake of the classic 1989 dungeon-crawling fantasy board game are now open.

HeroQuest is a Dungeons & Dragons-like role-playing game for between 2-5 players, with one taking on the role of the gamemaster Zargon and up to four others taking on the roles of the heroic Barbarian, Dwarf, Elf, and Wizard as they team on a quest for adventure in a maze of monsters and eerie dungeons.

Included in the game system are more than 65 miniatures and 14 quests, although replayability is limitless as players can also create their own stories and build their own quests in an epic battle between good and evil.

HeroQuest will hit shelves on January 15th 2022.
