First look at Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig in Noah Baumbach’s Netflix drama White Noise

July 26, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

With the announcement that it’s set to open the Venice Film Festival, Netflix have given us a first look at Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig in Noah Baumbach’s White Noise.

Baumbach’s first film since he teamed with Driver and Netflix on 2019’s superb Marriage Story, White Noise is based on the book by Don DeLillo and tells the story of a contemporary American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life, all while grappling with the universal themes of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.

White Noise also stars Don Cheadle (Avengers: Infinity War), Raffey Cassidy (Vox Lux), Sam Nivola (Bernstein), Allesandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), André L. Benjamin (Dispatches From Elsewhere) and Lars Edinger (High Life).

Netflix are yet to set a release date for White Noise.
