Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League clip reveals Kevin Conroy’s final Batman performance

December 9, 2022 by Ricky Church

Last night at the Game Awards Rocksteady Studios announced the release date for their upcoming game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is May 26th, 2023 and released a new clip which revealed Kevin Conroy, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago, delivered his final vocal performance as Batman in the game. Watch the clip below as the Suicide Squad get ready for an untimely encounter with Batman…

Conroy is most known for his performance as Batman in the DC Animated Universe which began in Batman: The Animated Series. For 30 years he would reprise the role in various animated series, films and games. His return in Rocksteady’s latest game is a partnership which began with the studio’s first Batman game in 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum. Conroy would continue to voice the Dark Knight in Rocksteady’s sequels Arkham City and Arkham Knight, all of which received a great deal of praise from fans and critics alike for their gameplay and vocal performances, especially toward Conroy.

It will be bittersweet to hear Conroy’s final performance posthumously as he has been well regarded as the best Batman voice in any medium. How do you feel knowing Conroy will be in the game? Let us know on our social channels @FlickeringMyth…

Set in the richly detailed open-world Metropolis, the game’s original narrative follows the four Suicide Squad members as they take on an impossible mission to save Earth and kill the World’s Greatest DC Super Heroes.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release on Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5 and PC on May 26th, 2023.
