Kevin Smith reveals poster for The 4:30 Movie

July 25, 2024 by EJ Moreno

Kevin Smith’s 16th film is on the way, and we now have the official first poster for The 4:30 Movie.

Smith announced in a sentimental social media post that it is coming to theaters this fall from Saban Films. It was also revealed that they would be debuting the trailer during Kevin Smith’s Hall H panel on Saturday night at Comic-Con, which will be online on Monday.

The 4:30 Movie is based on Smith’s experiences sneaking into movie theaters as a teenager and his earliest romantic endeavors. It was filmed at Smodcastle Cinemas, a New Jersey movie theater that Smith owns.

The film stars Austin Zajur, Nicholas Cirillo, Reed Northrup, Ken Jeong, Jason Lee, Kate Micucci, Method Man, and Smith’s daughter, Harley Quinn Smith. Check out the poster below…

The official synopsis reads: “Set in the summer of 1986, the movie follows three teenagers (played by Zajur, Cirillo, and Northrup) who spend their weekends sneaking into their local movie theater. When one of the teens invites the girl of his dreams to come along, the group must learn lessons about life and love.”
