Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming romcom Lonely Planet. Starring Laura Dern (Jurassic Park) and Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) and directed by Susannah Grant (Unbelievable), the film follows a writer who begins a love affair with a younger man while at a writer’s retreat. A reclusive novelist (Laura Dern) arrives at a prestigious writer’s retreat in Morocco, hoping the remote setting will unlock her writer’s block. While there, she meets a young man (Liam Hemsworth) — what starts as an acquaintanceship evolves into an intoxicating, life-altering love affair.
Lonely Planet also stars Diana Silvers, Younès Boucif, Adriano Giannini and Rachida Brakni. Grant wrote the film and is producing alongside Liza Chasin and Sarah Timberman.
Lonely Planet will premiere on October 11th.
