Rian Johnson’s mystery comedy series Poker Face has added a few more guest stars to its already impressive roster for season two. Joining the series is Awkwafina (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Corey Hawkins (The Color Purple), Simon Rex (Blink Twice) and rapper and actor Method Man.
Poker Face stars Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, a woman who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and, with every stop, encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
Awkwafina, Hawkins, Rex and Method Man join fellow season two guests Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, Kumail Nanjiani, Sherry Cola, Kevin Corrigan, Ben Marshall, Kathrine Narducci, Cynthia Erivo, BJ Novak, Margo Martindale, John Mulaney, Ego Nwodim and Sam Richardson for the upcoming episodes.
Showrunner Tony Tost serves as executive producer for Season 2 alongside Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman. Lyonne will again direct another episode for the second season.
Poker Face season one is now streaming on Peacock.
