Netflix’s Stranger Things season 5 poster teases one last adventure

July 15, 2025 by Gary Collinson

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is drawing closer, and to whet our appetites for a brand new trailer on Wednesday, Netflix has unveiled the official poster for the hotly-anticipated conclusion to the pop culture phenomenon which teases one last adventure for Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo).

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

Stranger Things season 5 will see the return of Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty and Jamie Campbell Bower alongside new addition Linda Hamilton.

Stranger Things season five will premiere Volume 1e on November 26th, with Volume 2 on Christmas, and Volume 3 on New Year’s Eve 2025.
