As Avatar: The Last Airbender celebrates its 20th anniversary at the San Diego Comic-Con, fans were treated to a first look at the next animated series in the beloved franchise, Avatar: Seven Havens.
The upcoming series sees the world “shattered by a devastating cataclysm. A young Earthbender discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra – but in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.”
The image sees the new Avatar Pavi travelling across a desolate land with her half-lemur half-cat animal Geet. A voice cast has not yet been revealed, but we could gain more information about the series this weekend as SDCC continues.
Avatar: Seven Havens is the latest series in the franchise following The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. An animated feature film The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender is also in development for a January 30th, 2026 release while Netflix is producing its live-action series remake of the beloved show.
Avatar: Seven Havens will be produced by Michael DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko, Ethan Spaulding and Sehaj Sethi.
