Are we ready for another terrifying adventure in Derry, Maine?
HBO brings us back to the dark world created by Stephen King in a new original nine-episode series, IT: Welcome to Derry, set for release just in time for the spooky season. At this year’s Comic-Con, we saw a 10-minute preview that shook the audience in attendance, while viewers at home were treated to a new two-minute teaser that promises another memorable (and scary) trip to Derry.
IT: Welcome to Derry kicks off in 1962, in the time leading up to the events of IT: Chapter One. Andy Muschietti, the director behind the blockbuster horror films and multiple episodes this season, also teased that potential second and third seasons would take place in 1935 and 1908, respectively. Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane serve as co-showrunners. Check out the chilling new look at the series below…
Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Madeleine Stowe, and Stephen Rider will star in the series. Alixandra Fuchs, Kimberly Guerrero, Dorian Grey, Thomas Mitchell, BJ Harrison, Peter Outerbridge, Shane Marriott, Chad Rook, Joshua Odjick, Rudy Mancuso, and Morningstar Angeline round out the supporting cast.
Bill Skarsgård is also making his return as Pennywise the Clown, reprising his iconic role from It and its follow-up, It: Chapter Two.
It: Welcome To Derry hits HBO Max this October.
