It’s gone FUBAR for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first foray into television, as Variety is reporting that Netflix has cancelled the action adventure spy series FUBAR some two months on from its season two premiere.
Created by Nick Santora (Scorpion), FUBAR featured a True Lies-esque plot where Arnie’s CIA agent Luke Brunner discovers that his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) is also an agency operative and the two have been deceiving each other for years.
The first season of FUBAR was a big hit for Netflix back in 2023, and while the second season – premiering this past June – got off to a solid start by cracking the top 10 of Nielsen’s streaming originals, it has presumably failed to match Netflix’s expectations enough to warrant a third season.

Along with Schwarzenegger and Barbaro, FUBAR features a cast that includes Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Aparna Brielle, Guy Burnet, Andy Buckley, Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris and Scott Thompson, with Carrie-Anne Moss also joining for the second season as the villain, an old flame from Luke’s past.
