Everything has led to this in For All Mankind season 5 teaser trailer

January 21, 2026 by Ricky Church

The alternate history sci-fi series For All Mankind is set to launch its fifth season on March 27th. Apple TV+ has released the first teaser trailer with a batch of images of the upcoming season, teasing how the future has further diverged as mankind continues colonizing Mars.

For All Mankind follows an alternate world history where the USSR beat the United States to the moon, forever altering the future of mankind. As the space race continued over the decades, NASA began to broaden their ambitions by reaching and colonizing Mars.

Season 5 will pick up “in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.”

Created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Navidi, For All Mankind features Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt. Season 5 will introduce Mirelle Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz, Ines Asserson, Barrett Carnahan and Tyler Labine to the cast.

For All Mankind Season 5 will premiere on March 27th.
