Suspense thriller Death Among the Pines sets UK release with High Fliers Films

March 2, 2026 by Gary Collinson

Flickering Myth and Shepka Productions are delighted to announced that High Fliers Films will be bringing our new suspense thriller Death Among the Pines to UK audiences later this year.

Directed by Nathan Shepka (Dead Before They Wake), who stars alongside Nicolette McKeown (Mercy Falls), Stephen Kerr (Spoiling You) and Olly Bassi (Dick Dynamite: 1944), the film unfolds over a single storm-lashed evening in a remote cottage in the Scottish countryside, where a woman’s decision to shelter a mysterious stranger and the subsequent arrival of a police officer conducting a manhunt for an escaped criminal raises unsettling questions about who can be trusted. Watch the trailer here…

Death Among the Pines marks our second foray into feature filmmaking, following last year’s The Baby in the Basket, which was also released in the UK via High Fliers and is available on DVD as well as streaming free on Prime Video. We’re delighted to be working with them once more on Death Among the Pines, and will bring you specific details and dates for the UK release as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Death Among the Pines is also available now in the United States via TVOD on Prime Video and AVOD via Tubi.
