New Masters of the Universe trailer depicts the action-packed battle for Eternia

April 25, 2026 by Matt Rodgers

Amazon MGM Studios has released a new trailer for Masters of the Universe, their forthcoming live-action adaptation of the cherished Mattel toy brand, which finds He-Man returning to Eternia to reclaim the power of Grayskull in order to stop Skeletor. You can check out the international trailer below…

In Masters of the Universe, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.

Masters of the Universe is directed by Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings, Transformers: Bumblebee) and sees Galitzine’s Prince Adam joined in the cast by Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto.
