June 30, 2026 by Gary Collinson

Mattel is putting the spotlight on one of the most memorable sequences from this year’s Masters of the Universe movie with its San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Gym Bro Skeletor action figure. “Do you even lift, He-Man?” We can just imagine Gym Bro Skeletor taunting the otherwise unassuming Adam Glenn in the weight room, as the Evil Lord of Destruction is ready to crush his enemies in an unexpected new way. This figure, based on a look straight from a mind-meld attack sequence in the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie, is highly articulated to let you recreate your favorite musclebound poses, a few of which you’ll see on parts of the window-box packaging.

  • Masters of the Universe Gym Bro Skeletor Action Figure
  • 6-inch scale with 32 points of articulation
  • Created in celebration of the feature film, just in time for SDCC
  • Skeletor enters He-Man’s mind, menacing our hero in an unexpected way
  • Comes with two dumbbells with real metal accents and one barbell
  • Also includes one custom gym towel and interchangeable hands
  • Window-box packaging lets you display him in multiple poses inside the box

In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.

Masters of the Universe is directed by Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings, Transformers: Bumblebee) and sees Nicholas Galitzine leading the cast as Prince Adam/He-Man alongside Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto.
