Arnold Schwarzenegger: “I would love to do another Predator”

April 21, 2016 by Gary Collinson

With the Terminator franchise terminated and Triplets and The Legend of Conan / Conan the Conqueror seemingly stuck in development hell, it looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger is becoming increasingly keen to return to another of his former glories.

Back in March, Arnold suggested that he’d be meeting with Shane Black about a role in The Predator, the upcoming follow-up to the 1987 action classic (which saw Black co-starring alongside Schwarzenegger), and now he has once again expressed his interest in reprising the role of Major Alan ‘Dutch’ Schaefer.”

“I would love to do another Predator, but it has to be a good script,” said Arnold during a video on his official Facebook page (via Comic Book). “I think that Shane Black is directing the next one. I think that would be a good Predator.”

Black has revealed that the new movie will be set in the present day, some 30 years after the first movie, so an appearance from Arnold would certainly fit time wise.
