Megan Fox would like to play Indiana Jones

May 9, 2016 by Luke Owen

Soon to be reprising her role as April O’Neill in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Megan Fox has been talking about other roles she’d like to play.

A few years back, Fox was in the mix to play the role of Lara Croft in the reboot of Tomb Raider along with Kristen Stewart and Daisy Ridley. That role would go to Alicia Vikander as revealed last week, but Fox has her sights set on another famous adventurer. “I’ve always wanted to do Tomb Raider, but it’s been done – and very well,” She told Gamespot. “So I guess I’d go with Indiana Jones since I always loved how fun and free-spirited Indiana is.”

“He’s an adventurous rogue archaeologist who barely escapes death chasing down treasures among the earth’s most mysterious sites,” she added. “What’s not to love?”

With Harrison Ford set to put on the fedora once again as Indy for a fifth time, it’s likely that Fox won’t get her wish. Unless they debuted her as his daughter and hand over the reigns? Worked out well for Shai LeBeouf…

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is once again produced by Michael Bay, with David Green (Earth to Echo) directing Fox (April O’Neill), Will Arnett (Vernon Fenwick), William Fichtner (Eric Sacks), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) and Noel Fisher (Michelangelo) all return to the cast, while new additions include Stephen Amell (Arrow) as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry (Gone Girl) as Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee (The Wolverine) as The Shredder, Gary Anthony Williams (Boston Legal) as Bebop and WWE’s Sheamus as Rocksteady with Alessandra Ambrosio (Casino Royale) and Laura Linney (The Fifth Estate) in unconfirmed roles. The film is set for release on May 30th in the UK and June 3rd in the States.
