Microsoft introducing a Netflix-style game subscription service

February 28, 2017 by Daniel James Thomas

Do you enjoy Netflix? That monthly payment for access to hundreds of TV shows and movies? Wouldn’t it be great if there was something like that for games? WAIT! There is! Or will be…

Today, Microsoft have announced a new gaming subscription service for Xbox players which they are set to offer this spring. Just like Netflix, the Xbox Game Pass will feature a massive amounts of games which will be offered to you for a fixed monthly fee.

It has been said that game will be directly downloaded to your console so that you have access to play – a better idea than streaming for all you slow internet people!

The Xbox Game Pass will include over 100 games including Halo 5: Guardians, Saints Row 4 Re-Elected, LEGO Batman and Payday 2, and will cost $9.99 per month.
