The Twitter reaction to that Inhumans image was NOT good

May 5, 2017 by admin

Yesterday saw our first official look at ABC’s adaptation of Marvel’s Inhumans, and the reaction was not great.

What once started out as the climax to Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now a TV production with a fraction of the budget. The budget appears to be the biggest focus of complaints, with many saying the costumes for Inhumans looks like fancy dress knock-offs.

Worse still, fans who still watch Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were even more upset when news broke that the show might be cancelled, with Inhumans essentially replacing it.

Entertainment Weekly were the first to put the image out, and going by the reaction from Twitter, they should have kept it to themselves.

So, what did you think of the image? Let us know in the comments below.

After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

Inhumans will premiere in IMAX theaters on September 1st, with a two-week run for the first two episodes, before the full eight episodes air on ABC from September 26th. Featuring in the cast of the series are Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, and Ellen Woglom and Chad James Buchanan as as-yet-unrevealed characters.
