Jim Zub and Steven Cummings’ comic book series Wayward has been acquired by Manga Entertainment, who are developing the property for television, either as a live-action series or anime.

We are very confident this story will connect with audiences across Asia and the rest of the world.”

Wayward is published by Image Comics, and follows Yokai, Japanese creatures and spirits of legend that battle against teenagers permeated with newfound supernatural power.
