The Punisher season 2 to start production this month

February 13, 2018 by Samuel Brace

It won’t be long before The Punisher is shooting again as production for season two is said to start this month.

While a second season of the Netflix Marvel series was announced just last month, and after we learned of some interesting casting breakdowns this week, we now know that Frank will be back in action very soon indeed.

SpoilerTV reports that production is set to begin on season two of The Punisher on February 26th and come to an end on July 20th.

Season one of The Punisher blasted its way onto Netflix last November, starring Jon Bernthal as the title character after his debut appearance as Frank Castle on Daredevil season two.

The aforementioned casting breakdowns suggest that The Punisher season two could focus on Garth Ennis’ comic book story arc ‘The Slavers’ which sees Frank going after a sex slave ring.

While this is only speculation at this point, it certainly sounds like a compelling direction in which to take the show’s second outing. Let us know what you’re hoping from The Punisher season 2 in the comments below…
