Tiffany Haddish joins Tyler Perry’s next film The List

March 7, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Tiffany Haddish (Girl’s Trip) has signed on to appear alongside Tika Sumpter (A Madea Christmas) and Omari Hardwick (Power) in The List, the next film from writer-director Tyler Perry.

The logline for the film reads: “When her wild sister (Haddish) gets released from prison and re-enters her life, Danica (Sumpter) is forced to accept that she may be getting ‘catfished’ by an online boyfriend whom she has never met in person.”

The List marks a reunion for Haddish and Perry, with the actress having starred in Perry’s OWN series If Loving You Is Wrong. She has also recently signed on to appear alongside Melissca McCarthy in the comic book crime drama adaptation The Kitchen, and will star alongside Kevin Hart in Nightschool and Tracy Morgan in the sitcom The Last OG.
