Oscar Isaac teases Apocalypse’s powers for X-Men: Apocalypse

January 21, 2015 by Thomas Roach

It was announced a few months back Oscar Isaac will play the titular villain in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. Filming is set to start in April and ComingSoon.net asked the actor about Apocalypse’s costumes and powers whilst he was promoting his latest movie A Most Violent Year.

“[The costume] hasn’t been figured out yet, but one of his major powers is being able to change all the molecules in his body, so I’ll be changing all the molecules in my body… It’s gonna be a lot of fun,” said Isaac.

Only time will tell us what other powers Apocalypse will have in the movie. In the comics, his powers include but are not limited to telekinesis, teleportation and invulnerability.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release May 19th, 2016 with a cast that also includes James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) and Evan Peters (Quicksilver).
