Big Finish has announced the new Doctor Who – The Lost Stories: Alixion audio drama coming this September. This latest audio box set in The Lost Stories range brings a new adventure for the Seventh Doctor, played once again by the wonderful Sylvester McCoy.
The Lost Stories range is a series of audio dramas based on unproduced stories submitted to the TV team and Robin Mukherjee, the original writer of Alixion has returned to adapt his story into an audio drama.
Alixion sees the arrival of the Seventh Doctor and Ace (played by Sophie Aldred) at an opulent health spa for a spot of rest and relaxation, but whenever the Doctor plans on taking a break something always crops up. It’s not long before the Doctor and Ace have their dreams used against them by a malign entity that craves power.
Hiding behind the walls of the spa, the entity exploits the pairs memories and regrets and as it steals the life force of the Doctor, it forces them to confront their deepest fears.
