Brec Bassinger to lead horror-thriller The Evilry

August 12, 2024 by Ricky Church

Brec Bassinger is about to go from fighting supervillains in Stargirl to fighting supernatural forces in The Evilry, a horror coming-of-age horror-thriller from director Alexander Garcia.

Starring alongside Bassinger will be Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3), Dylan Walsh (Superman & Lois), Marissa Reyes (Ganymede), Evan Ross (The Loneliest Boy in the World), Tony Pierce (The Bodyguard) and Teri Polo (Meet The Parents).

Plot details are largely unknown, but Deadline reports the film will follow Bassinger’s character will visit her relative, played by Kampouris, and discovers she is harbouring a dark secret.

Garcia has written the script and will produce through his company Multi-Valence Productions alongside his colleagues Joanna Quezada, Mike Nease and Chris Bradds.

This will not be Bassinger’s first foray into horror as she is starring in next year’s hotly-anticipated new entry in the Final Destination series, Final Destination: Bloodlines.

The Evilry will begin production next month in Louisiana.
