Bryan Cranston discusses Zordon role in Power Rangers

June 29, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Last week it was announced that Bryan Cranston is set to portray the character of Zordon in Lionsgate and Saban’s upcoming Power Rangers movie, and now the Breaking Bad star has shared some details about the role in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“It’s motion capture and it’s a lot of CGI-work.,” states Cranston, who voiced the characters of Snizard and Twin Man in the first season of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series. “The tenant of that storyline is that this a real person who is trapped in this etherworld and it becomes this in-the-wall so to speak of [the command center], He still has a heart and mind, but an agenda that he’s got to get these five Power Rangers to defend the earth or else everyone they know will be killed. So, it’s exciting.”

But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
