PQube and developers The Gentlebros have announced that their action RPG Cat Quest will be released on the Playstation 4 in Europe on the 10th November and in North America on the 14th November. A brand new trailer has been launched alongside this announcement and can be seen below…
Cat Quest is a 2D action-RPG set in the massive open world of Felingard that puts players in the role of the Dragonblood, the last of a long lost race of dragonslayers. Joined by a guardian spirit called Spirry, players must set out on a quest to overcome the forces of the evil cat-lord Drakoth and rescue your sister. Players will encounter terrible opponents and fearsome dragons in their quest to destroy Drakoth.
Players will have access to a wide variety of equipment to help customise your adventurer to the class you prefer. If a spellcaster is preferred then there are robes and staffs to boost mana while for those who want to hack and slash their way to victory there are a selection of weapons and armour to choose from. All equipment can be mixed and matched to suit playstyle.
Combat throughout the game all takes place in real time, allowing players to get close to their enemies attack and dodge. For those who just prefer to stay at a distance and attack with spells there are the ancient spells of Lightnyan, Flamepurr and Healpaw to use to gain victory.
With lots of side quests and loot to collect Cat Quest promises to be an addictive and charming action RPG.
