Chris Pratt faces trial by AI in trailer for sci-fi thriller Mercy

Amazon MGM Studios has released a poster and trailer for director Timur Bekmambetov’s sci-fi thriller Mercy.

Chris Pratt stars as a detective who has just 90 minutes to prove his innocence to an A.I. judge (Rebecca Ferguson) and avoid execution after he is accused of murder.

The cast also includes Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers. Check out the trailer below…

In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.

Mercy arrives in cinemas on January 23rd.
