Daisy Ridley stars in trailer for Sometimes I Think About Dying

November 15, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

A poster and trailer have arrived online for director Rachel Lambert’s comedy drama Sometimes I Think About Dying.

The film stars Daisy Ridley as Fran, a young woman unable to pop her bubble of isolation until she meets a new co-worker, Robert (Dave Merheje), and although reluctant, gives him a chance and the pair start dating, pushing through the restraints of the social and emotional wall she’s built around herself. Watch the trailer below…

Lost on the dreary Oregon coast, Fran finds solace in her cubicle, listening to the constant hum of officemates and occasionally daydreaming to pass the time. She is ghosting through life, unable to pop her bubble of isolation, when a friendly new coworker, Robert, persistently tries to connect with her. Though it goes against every fiber of her being, she may have to give this guy a chance. Director Rachel Lambert and team craft beautiful cinema for this delicately told story of love for the socially awkward and emotionally challenged.
