E.T. star Henry Thomas phones home for Ouija 2 role

Upcoming horror sequel Ouija 2 has been bolstered by two new additions to its cast, with E.T. leading man Henry Thomas set to star as well as young performer Lulu Wilson (Deliver us From Evil).

Thomas and Wilson will join the already announced cast of Annalise Basso (Oculus) and Elizabeth Reaser (True Detective) for the sequel, co-produced by Platinum Dunes, Blumhouse, Hasbro and Universal.

Oculus filmmaker Mike Flanagan is set to step into the director’s chair, taking the place of the first film’s helmsman Stiles White (The Possession).

The original film was a success at the box office, reaching a worldwide gross of $102m from a small budget of only $5m.

Ouija 2 is set for release on October 21st 2016.
