A trailer has arrived online for Queen of the Ring, the biographical sports drama from writer-director Ash Avildsen.
Based on Jeff Leen’s book The Queen of the Ring: Sex, Muscles, Diamonds, and the Making of an American Legend, the film tells the story of Mildred Burke (played by Emily Bett Rickards), a single mother who became the first million dollar female athlete in history and three time women’s champion, dominating the world of professional wrestling. Queen of the Ring is set for release in March 2025.
