Exclusive Interview – Sosie Bacon discusses her hit horror Smile and crafting its best jump scares

EJ Moreno sits down with Sosie Bacon about Smile…

Actress Sosie Bacon is no stranger to horror. Not only has she starred in MTV’s Scream series, but her father, Kevin Bacon, famously started his career in the genre. During our interview, Sosie dives into how her love for horror began while sharing early memories of seeing films with her family.

She’s now the star of the smash hit film Smile, which is scaring up big numbers at the box office. The actress opens up about crafting the signature scares while offering insight into how incredible the film experience was.

After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.

Directed by Parker Finn (Laura Hasn’t Slept), the film stars Sosie Bacon (Mare of Easttown), Jessie T. Usher (The Boys), Kyle Gallner (Scream), Caitlin Stasey (Bridge and Tunnel), Kal Penn (Designated Survivor) and Rob Morgan (Stranger Things).

Smile is currently in cinemas worldwide.
