Fall Out Boy to headline Big Hero 6 soundtrack

October 19, 2014 by James Garcia

Disney announced this weekend that popular American rock band Fall Out Boy will be headlining the Big Hero 6 soundtrack. The band has launched a new song titled “Immortals” for the soundtrack, while Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Wreck-It Ralph composer Henry Jackman will provide the score. You can listen to the new song here:

Patrick Stump, Fall Out Boy’s lead guitarist and vocalist, talked about the new song in the announcement:

“The idea of this kid stepping up on behalf of his brother is what inspired the song’s title “Immortals.” Your victories aren’t exclusively yours, so the fact that all of these people are coming together to help him get to the finish line is really exciting.”

The soundtrack will go on sale on November 4th. Big Hero 6 hits theaters three days later on November 7th.
