Fargo season 5 adds Lukas Gage to cast

January 6, 2023 by Ricky Church

The fifth season of FX’s Fargo has made a new addition to its cast. Per Variety, Lukas Gage (Euphoria, The White Lotus) has joined the show in a recurring role.

Gage will portray a character named Lars Olmstead. He’ll star alongside Juno Temple, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh in the upcoming season.

Created by Noah Hawley, Fargo is based on the 1996 crime comedy from the Coen Brothers and is an anthology with a new group of characters and story each season. Details on season five are scarce, but the show will take place in the modern day and simply asks “when is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?”

Temple, Hamm and Leigh will play Dot, Roy and Lorraine respectively, but any more information is unknown, including when season five is intended to premiere.

Set in 2019, when is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?

Fargo season 5 features a cast that includes Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), Jon Hamm (Top Gun: Maverick), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Richa Moorjani (Never Have I Ever), David Rysdahl (No Exit), Sam Spruell (Outlaw King), Jessica Pohly (Pee-wee’s Big Holiday), Nick Gomez (She-hulk: Attorney at Law), and Lukas Gage (The White Lotus).
