Feast your eyes on the poster for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer

July 21, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Following endless casting announcements for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, the film’s official Twitter account was christened today with the first poster for his J. Robert Oppenheimer biopic, which is due to land on July 21st 2023. Check it out in all its explosive glory below….

Nolan’s first film with Universal Pictures, Oppenheimer stars (take a deep breath) Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Casey Affleck, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Alden Ehrenreich, David Dastmalchian, Olli Haaskivi, Jason Clarke, James D’Arcy, Michael Angarano, Guy Burnet, Danny Deferrari, Matthias Schweighöfer, Gary Oldman, Harrison Gilbertson, Emma Dumont, Devon Bostick, Trond Fausa, Christopher Denham and Josh Zuckerman.

Oppenheimer has been written by Nolan and is based upon the biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer. The movie chronicles the development of the atomic bomb during World War II, and the official logline reads:

“The IMAX-shot epic thriller thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it.”

Nolan is one of only a handful of directors whose name guarantees that his movie is an event. Let us know what you think of the poster by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
