Netmarble and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that their highly anticipated action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will be launching on Steam Early Access on Wednesday, 26th March. Also, starting today, fans of the world created by George R. R. Martin can purchase a Founder’s Pack to help start their journey through Westeros in style. The new Steam Founders Pack comes in three tiers, each will give early access to the game and an assortment of items, including emojis and in-game currency. The Ultimate Founders Pack will provide a huge assortment of goodies, including exclusive costumes, mounts, season passes, in-game currency and much more. Mobile gamers can also pre-register for the game through Google Play and the App Store. Once the game has launched, players will be able to enjoy a full cross-play experience across all supported platforms.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will put players in the role of the heir to the small northern noble family of House Tyre, where they will need to ensure their house survives the tumultuous events throughout Westeros. Players will find their character becomes involved in the political goings-on in the country, including the Lannister’s tenuous grip on the Iron Throne and the call to arms from Stannis Baratheon. There will also be difficulties beyond the wall to deal with.
