Illumination and Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer for Minions & Monsters, the next instalment in the Despicable Me Universe from director Pierre Coffin.
The animated comedy sees the Minions conquer Hollywood, before they are forced to band together to save the planet when they attempt to make their own monster movie, inadvertently unleashing real monsters into the world.
This is the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created.
Minions & Monsters arrives in cinemas on July 1st.
