Invincible season 3 adds Aaron Paul, Simu Liu, Kate Mara, Xolo Maridueña and more

With the third season of the animated superhero series Invincible premiering next month, Amazon has announced several new members to the cast.

Joining the series is Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Kate Mara (House of Cards), Xolo Maridueña (Cobra Kai), Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Tzi Ma (Arrival), John DiMaggio (Futurama) and Hellraiser icon Doug Bradley.

The characters for Paul, Liu, Mara and Maridueña were revealed while the rest are being kept under wraps for the time being.

Paul will play Powerplex/Scott Duvall, the brother of Jessica Duvall. Liu will play Paul Cha/Multi-Paul, a supervillain and the twin brother of Dupli-Kate. Mara will voice Becky Duvall, Powerplex’s wife and Maridueña will be Dropkick/Fightmaster.

Invincible follows 19-year-old Mark Grayson as he inherits his father’s superpowers and sets out to become Earth’s greatest defender, only to discover the job is more challenging than he could have ever imagined. Everything changes as Mark is forced to face his past, and his future, while discovering how much further he’ll need to go to protect the people he loves.

Invincible features a voice cast that includes Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Zachary Quinto, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Clancy Brown, Jay Pharoah, Mark Hamill and Melise Jow.

Invincible season three will premiere on February 6th.
