Jason Schwartzman is suffering a crisis of faith in Between the Temples trailer

Sony Pictures has released the trailer for Between the Temples, Nathan Silver’s crisis-of-faith comedy that stars Jason Schwartzman as a Cantor whose already dysfunctional life is thrown into disarray when his old music teacher (Scrooged‘s Carol Kane) starts attending his Temple.

The critically-acclaimed film also stars Dolly de Leon, Caroline Aaron, Robert Smigel and Madeline Weinstein. Watch the trailer below…

A cantor (Jason Schwartzman) in a crisis of faith finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher (Carol Kane) re-enters his life as his new adult Bat Mitzvah student.

Between the Temples is only in cinemas August 23rd.
