It looks like Kevin Smith is set to join the DC universe, with The CW announcing today at the Television Critics Association press tour that Smith is set to direct an episode of The Flash.
No further details were given, but Deadline is reporting that Smith’s episode will air in May.
This won’t be the first time that Smith has worked with The CW, having executive produced and directed the pilot episode of Reaper in 2007. He is also the producer of the AMC series Comic Book Men.

The Flash is currently on its midseason break and will return to The CW on January 19th.
