Krysten Ritter and Melissa Rosenberg react to Jessica Jones cancellation

February 19, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Krysten Ritter and showrunner Melissa Rosenberg have commented on the cancellation of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, promising the final season will go out “with a bang”.

Fans finally learned the fate of Jessica Jones this week with Netflix announcing its cancellation, along with The Punisher. While there are sure to be some sad audience members regarding the news, the writing seemed to be on the wall for a while now considering the other Marvel shows, such as Daredevil and Luke Cage, had also been axed.

What does Jessica Jones‘ showrunner Melissa Rosenberg have to say about the news? Well, in a Twitter post, Rosenberg promised fans that the last season will be a memorable one:

“To all JJ’s fans and followers, thanks for your support! What an extraordinary rid it’s been! So much gratitude to K Ritter et al. We’ll be going out with a bang for our last 13 eps when they air. Can’t wait for you to see them! Xom”
